Slow growing Palm that can reach 6-8 ft. in height. One of the most attractive palms available. It has large circular, ruffled leaves. Since it is an understory plant of the rainforest it needs mostly shade and will NOT tolerate ANY COLD below 40 degrees. Also requires well drained soil. Great for indoors but some varieties have large spines on the leaves and the trunk.
