Crossandra
Flowering perennial that can reach up to
3' in height. Thrives well in warm
temperatures and high light.  Produces
clusters of flowers in orange or yellow
in late summer and early fall. Low salt
and low drought.

Croton - Codiaeum variegatum

A moderate growing tropical shrub that grows to varying heights. Produces no blooms worth taking note of, but it is available in MANY varieties of vivid colors and leaf shapes. Can be used indoors in bright light. Keep on the dry side but do not let it go without water for long periods of time. Salt Tolerant.

Crown of Thorns - Euphorbia milii

A moderate growing small succulent that can reach different heigths depending on the variety you buy. Very easy to grow in full sun and well drained, semi-dry soil. The small red blooms are Very frequent and are on the plant all year round in clusters. This plant does have small thorns but they are not particularly annoying as they are brittle and break before they cause you any real injury.

A thin leaved upright shrub that can reach 6'+ if left unpruned. The stems elongate as the plant grows taller unless trimmed, where the stem will branch out from the pruned area. Comes in a variety of colors & sizes.

bonsai looking stems above a swollen
trunk base. Blooms nearly year round
in warm temps. Great as a houseplant
that requires a sunny location.
Can be used indoors in Fairly Sunny Spot.

Elaeagnus Silverthorn - Elaeagnus microphylla
Evergeen shrub with silvery green leaves.
Great for a hedge or screen. Can reach up
to 10' in height.  Salt/drought tolerant.
Fast grower.

Eugenia

A Fast growing shrub that can reach over 10' tall & 6-8' wide. Great for hedging or creating shaped plants in the yard. This plant is used heavily for topiaries as it is easy to shape and maintain fullness. Cold hardy to 35 degrees it will begin to burn below that but will survive and regrow in the spring. The new growth is identified by its reddish tinge. The flowers appear periodically throughout the year and are small white puffballs that have a slight fragrance to them.

Moderate growing tropical fern-tree that can reach up to 12 ft. in height. Long fronds extend from a tall thin trunk that is covered in black hair. Keep in part to full shade. Keep Moist.

Fern Foxtail - Asparagus densiflorus 'Meyerii'

Fast growing fern that can reach 1-2.5 ft. in height. Fronds form a thick spear-like shape that grow in a clump form that spreads slowly. Great as an accent or as a border. Produces white flowers all along the stem but not very frequently and at random intervals. Drought tolerant. Easy Care.

Fern Kangaroo Paw (Wart Fern) - Microsorium divirsifolium

Fast growing and spreading fern that only reaches 2 ft. in height. Thick glossy leaves that form multiple fingers and are on long stems that grow upward from the thick snaking roots that crawl just above the soil. Wonderful as a groundcover in part to full shade. Also great for hanging baskets.

Fern Macho - Nephrolepis biserrata 'Macho'

Fast growing fern that can rach 3-4 ft. in height. Very large lush tropical fronds extend from the ground in a clumping, arching habit. Tolerates FULL Sun.



Fern Sprengeri - Asparagus densiflorus 'Sprengeri'

Very FAST growing fern that can get 2-4 ft. long fronds. The fronds are very graceful in a cascading pattern of growth with a very fine texture. Needs partial shade. Contains spines on some of the stems. Great for pots and raised beds, but be careful because it can take over large areas.

Fern Sword - Polystichum munitum

Fast growing fern that only reaches 2 ft. in height. Stiff upright fronds grow in a clumping habit that spreads moderately fast. Keep in partial shade and in Moist soil conditions.

Ficus Shrubs

Almost all Ficus will reach over 10' tall & wide if you let them. Each variety has different growth habits & leaf characteristics. Each variety should be kept away from foundations, driveways, & pipes. All are cold sensitive to about 30-35 degrees. All varieties can be grown Indoors or Outdoors. Great Houseplants.

Benjamina - A Small leaf Ficus variety that is grown in shrub form as a compact hedge that is easily shaped.

Allii - A Long leaf variety that is most commonly seen in tree form because of its semi-weeping characteristics.

Green Island - The only Ficus that makes a good foundation plant as its roots are non-invasive & its maximum heigth is only 2-3'. Used most commonly as a tropical filler plant in landscapes, it adds a good glossy green texture to an area for low growing plants.

Lyrata - The "Fiddle Leaf" Fig - A very large foliaged ficus thats leaves resemble the shape of a musical instrument called a fiddle. Grown as A large tree or as a unique shrub.

Rubber Plant - A large leaf Ficus that can either be dark burgundy or variegated yellow/green. Its foliage is grown for both color and coverage. Great houseplant or Pool plant as if kept in a pot.

black berries. Can reach up to 4-5' ft

Firebush Dwarf - Hamelia macrantha

A fast growing shrub that will only get 3-4' in height. Gows a lot more compact than regular firebush. The leaves are green with no red coloring & the flowers are an orangish-yellow color. Blooms prolifically throughout the whole year. Cold hardy to 30 degrees. Very drought tolerant once established. Very butterfly & hummingbird attractive.

Gardenia 'Vietchii' - Gardenia jasminoides 'Vietchii'

A more compact growing gardenia that still grows to 3-4 Ft. tall & wide. The leaves & flowers are smaller but are produced in larger numbers. This gardenia variety is non-grafted & is best suited for raised planters & pots.
